About Coach Jessica

 

Jessica Belen-Rivera, B.S., M.S., is a RRCA Certified Running Coach Level I & II, USA Track & Field Level I Certified Coach and a NASM Certified Personal Trainer. As a runner for over 29 years, she has completed eighteen marathons, twenty half marathons, two 10 milers, numerous 5K and 10K races, two 70.3 Ironman, and one 144.6 Ironman (Chattanooga).

 

She has placed in, won road races in distances from 5K to the half marathon. She has run everywhere from the Great Wall of China to races in Puerto Rico, Austria, Egypt, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Brazil, and Germany. After an ACL replacement due to a ski accident in 2014, training smarter allowed her to achieve personal records, even winning a RRCA 10K National Championship and qualified multiple times for the Boston Marathon. 

 

She has completed the BP MS150 for eight years, which covers 180 miles of cycling in a two-day event. Additionally, she has finished and placed in duathlons and sprint triathlons during her career. She has even qualified for the USA Triathlon Age Group National Championships in the sprint distance.

 

She has coached clients in specific goals such as running, general fitness training, competition specific training and nutritional advice.
